The measurement of climate changes is becoming increasingly important and concerns many areas of life. The more accurate the equipment works at meteorological stations, the better is the modeling of the weather forecast. In some regions, this is particularly important. For example, in a mountainous area, where data from local meteorological stations provide the basis for choosing the area for the development of alternative energy sources (building wind stations).
Last month, our company implemented a joint pilot project for the supply of outdoor climate cabinets with a leading system integrator in Armenia for a regional meteorological organization. The project involved equippment of a wind finding station in remote mountainous areas. The key feature of the project was the need for the most reliable equipment able to operate autonomously for up to 6-7 months per year, since access to the facilities during this time is difficult due to weather conditions.
